Müller are looking for enthusiastic second year students to join their 13-month industrial placement scheme in July 2026. There are a range of roles available, please note that you can express an interest in multiple roles and your preferences will be noted at the interview stage.

What are the roles?

Müller Yogurts and Desserts OPEX (Operations Excellence) Intern 2025

• Location: Shropshire – Market Drayton, Telford, Minsterley
• As an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Placement Student at Müller, you’ll gain hands-on experience in driving production improvements and process optimisation at one of our sites. You’ll work closely with the Site Leadership team and the Central Operational Excellence team to deliver focused improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency and support front-line operations. This role offers the chance to coach managers, support continuous improvement, and help shape a culture of excellence across the site.

Who can apply?

• UK Driving License: Must hold a UK driving licence with at least one year of experience driving currently.
• Right to work: You must have a full Right to Work in the UK.
• We welcome applications from second-year university students who are curious, analytical, and eager to learn. If you’re on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in a related degree and looking for a placement year full of growth, collaboration, and impact You can be studying towards any degree to be eligible for this role.
• You must be in your second year of study and due to undertake a Placement/Sandwich year as part of your course, due to graduate in 2028 or 2029 if you are completing an Integrated Masters.
• Organisational skills: Effective time management and high attention to detail
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills: Making data-driven decisions to solve problems.
