Job Description

Register Your Interest - Supply Chain Level 3 Apprenticeship

About the scheme

Just finished your studies and excited to start your career? Our Supply Chain Apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the fascinating journey of transforming raw ingredients into the products you see on the store shelves. With the guidance of our supportive mentors, you’ll build the skills, confidence and expertise needed to thrive at the world’s largest food and drink manufacturer.

What can you expect?

During the programme, you’ll rotate through different roles within Supply Chain, gaining hands-on experience and seeing projects through from beginning to end. Throughout the apprenticeship you’ll have support and personalised coaching from both a buddy (an apprentice currently on scheme) and a champion (a successful graduate who has completed the scheme and is now thriving within Nestlé as a supply chain professional).

What will you get out of it?

You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the various stages involved in the movement of products and services from suppliers to consumers. Throughout this process you’ll have the opportunity to grow your profile and build a professional network within the business.

On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve the L3 Supply Chain Practitioner Apprenticeship. If you want to learn more about what you will learn on your apprenticeship journey, look at the apprenticeship standard.

Career progression

Hear about the career journeys of two recent apprentices who completed our programme:

  • “I’m now a Strategic Sourcing Senior Analyst, based in Panamá. If you’d told me when I joined that I’d be living in Central America four years later, I wouldn’t have believed it. The scheme makes you feel like anything is possible and enables you to build an invaluable network along the way.” Jess Wills - Strategic Sourcing Senior Analyst, Panamá
  • “The Nestlé Apprenticeship scheme gave me the opportunity to work in various roles across the supply chain, which has developed and prepared me well for my current role. I am able to apply my knowledge and experience to improve efficiency in our manufacturing plans. It has been a fantastic opportunity to step into a global company, and I’m grateful to now hold a permanent position working with both supply chain and manufacturing.” Eleanor Langford – Supply Stream Planner

Entry requirements

  • Maths and English Language GCSEs or equivalent at grades 9-4 (A*-C if taken before 2017).
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
  • You must be 18 years old by 1st September 2026.
  • Right to work in the UK that is not time-limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.

Locations

How we support each other

  • “Outside of my day-to-day role I attend career fairs and talks with others in the Academy. This experience is extremely rewarding as it enables me to share my experiences with others and build a network with new people I wouldn’t necessarily meet otherwise.” James Bray – Procurement Specialist
  • “After completing the scheme, I went on to become the Academy Champion for current and upcoming Supply Chain apprentices. This entails mentoring and leading Supply Chain apprentices as well as driving recruitment of future apprentices.” Joe Hughes – Customer Collaboration Manager

At Nestlé, our values are rooted in respect. When we embrace diversity and give everyone the chance to be the best they can be, we can think in new, creative ways that grow and enhance our business.
