Division Specifics About the Apprentice Role

As an apprentice, you will be provided with the training, study support and on-the-job coaching to accelerate your career.

We’ve designed our programme to provide a combination of practical skills development, technical learning including 20% of your time dedicated to a mixture of virtual and class-room training and opportunities to apply it on ground-breaking projects.

Our Technology Apprentice Programme offers you a wide variety of opportunities within technology and you will be part of a creative, collaborative and innovative team, partnering with others, sharing solutions and you will have a strong desire to make an impact. By becoming part of our bank, you’ll become part of a diverse and inclusive network that will continue to support you for the rest of your career.

What We Look For

We recruit school leavers who are:

  • Intelligent and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Inquisitive and want to understand how and why things work, and then improve them
  • Willing to develop their capability and careers at DB

To join the programme, you must:

  • Meet government requirements for funding
  • Hold a British or EU passport along with relevant immigration documents such as work visas and biometric resident permit
  • Have been living in the EU for the past 3 years

You will be expected to have achieved the following by the start of the programme:

  • GCSE in Maths and English at grades A*-C (4-9) or equivalent
  • 104 UCAS points from your A-Levels or equivalent qualifications
  • One of these qualifications must be a STEM subject
  • UCAS points cannot include general studies
