My role is to understand consumer behaviour and market activity. These insights can then be used for our different categories
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my program a lot. There are a wide variety of opportunities at Samsung, learning takes place each day which allows me to continuously grow and improve.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have become upskilled in some of the external and internal software the business uses. Further, I’ve continued to adopt skills that helped me produce actionable and understandable intel.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My program is well structured, I’m currently on a rotation that allows me to be repeatedly exposed to different elements of the business. The rotations are also long enough for me to settle into the different teams and work independently and alongside colleagues on good footing.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive feedback quite frequently from my managers on tasks/projects I’m working on via weekly catch-ups. Alongside this, the Talent management team constantly push us to grow through the different training sessions offered to Apprentices frequently.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider helps ensure that I’m staying on track, they offer support with general studies as well as my OTJ.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification provides a lot more insight into what I do on a day-to-day basis, it also helps me understand some of the fundamentals and principles behind it.

There is a wide range of opportunities to get involved in at Samsung. I specifically enjoy the panel talks on tech, sports, etc

I would highly recommend individuals delve deeper into Samsung beyond its mobile surface. Explore the company’s rich history, diverse product range, and significant community involvement. These aspects are crucial to highlight especially during the application process. Understanding these elements will provide a more comprehensive perspective on Samsung’s values and contributions.
