Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role on my current placement involves leading meetings, facilitating discussions between stakeholders, and tracking and managing actions. I often liaise with other sub-teams such as Projects, Integration, and Quality to bring together evolving information on the latest challenges facing the team. Alongside this, I attend university one day a week to work towards my degree.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my current programme, and prefer the balance of placement work alongside university. I have especially enjoyed having a more people-facing role on my current placement, engaging with key stakeholders and liaising across different departments.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My current placements has significantly developed my confidence and presentation skills, giving me the courage to speak with stakeholders and run meetings. I have gained a better understanding of the management process and how this intertwines with other processes, which has further my critical thinking skills and enabled me to analyse problems more effectively.
