Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Completed ad-hoc data management tasks, mocked up charts for the Interims and contributed to processes by finding and entering data. Updated data packs by externally researching OFGEM and its competitors.
Completed a H1 Consensus report by reading and analysing analyst notes, using excel. I also used a model to forecast future performance metrics (both operational and financial).
Worked on ESG analysis by using the shareholder register (provided by the brokers) and looked at the frameworks.

Soft skills: communication, teamwork and time management. Learnt about the importance of eye for detail when producing accurate results.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing supportive culture. Lots of senior individuals were willing to give their time for 1-1 talks, which means a lot as an intern. Friendly environment especially given the size of the business.
