Level 3 Apprenticeship
Which apprenticeship are you currently doing / have you done?
I have completed the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Can you tell us about the skills, knowledge and experiences that you got by doing your apprenticeship?
My apprenticeship has helped me become more of a competent business administrator when handling personal data, pay accounts and advising military personnel on policy related entitlements and queries.
I have a much stronger understanding of internal and external stakeholders, data legislation and business processes which I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t been offered this apprenticeship.
Personally, I feel content and confident in my own abilities to progress to higher level qualifications, which will help further enhance my career and knowledge in Human Resources.
What was the highlight of your apprenticeship experience?
The highlight of the apprenticeship was being nominated by my apprentice coach for the AGC (SPS) apprenticeship awards for going above and beyond during my work. A competitive competition which I was selected for, and although I was only a runner up out of 2 others, this was a great achievement and I felt very proud to have represented my Corps doing so.
For when leaving the Army, it’s another boost for the CV and I think the more qualifications you can get whilst serving the better as it will make you more experienced, knowledgeable, and employable to companies outside of the MOD.
