Manufacturing Engineering Technician Apprentice (Ansty Park)

To be an apprentice at Parker Meggitt has been a phenomenal experience. I am in my first year as an engineering and manufacturing support technician. I started my apprenticeship working with the supplier quality team and this gave my many opportunities to visit other sites who we work with and the ability to view and understand their processes as well as our own. The team at Parker Meggitt are very supportive and always keen to help you learn whilst on the job!

I chose an apprenticeship at Parker Meggitt as the aerospace industry can be very competitive and has many challenges. It is also an excellent company to work for as they are very supportive of young women who aspire to become engineers. Apprentices are given the opportunity to move around departments to get an insight into all aspects of the business allowing me to gain more experience and learn something new every day.
