Engineering Technician Apprentice (Fareham)

I saw an apprenticeship opportunity with Parker Meggitt as a way for me to gain hands-on experience, while also developing my engineering knowledge by attending college one day a week. Parker Meggitt is a supportive apprenticeship employer, they prioritise both technical support and personal development, which is laying a strong foundation for my future career. I have access to the latest tools, resources and learning opportunities as I rotate across different engineering departments at Fareham.

Everyday holds a different challenge, and I get to see how different areas of the company work together, as well as developing my skills such as teamwork and confidence. Leadership development is encouraged, and I have opportunities to engage in a number of programmes internally and externally to take on responsibilities such as becoming an Apprenticeship Ambassador, allowing me to represent Parker Meggitt and to share my experiences to encourage others to go down the apprenticeship pathway.
