Most interesting part about my role?
I get to speak to people from all over the company and learn what they do and how they go about it. I am constantly exposed to and learning about new technology and techniques. I really like how knowledgeable other people are - many of my coworkers have specific areas they are incredibly into, and they are always delighted to explain it.
Why did you join Maven?
I joined Maven through their Spring Week program, as an opportunity to see what a career in technology would look like. I then came back as an intern and loved Maven's culture and the opportunity to work on more complex software engineering problems than I'd been exposed to in my degree. When I got the return offer it was an easy decision to come back as a grad.
Hobbies outside work? How do I unwind?
Outside of work hours, my friendship group has a weekly TTRPG session which has been going on for four years now. I also quilt, a hobby I picked up over COVID; I am currently working on an art deco quilt. I also play for an amateur orchestra based in Camden.
