Most interesting part(s) about your role?
Exploring trading-related data and identifying interesting topics to research. Reading through the internal wiki and constantly learning from a diverse group of people—including traders, developers, researchers, and colleagues from other departments. Many valuable skills have been gained thanks to their willingness to share.
Hobbies outside work, how do you unwind?
I enjoy trying new things—whether it's learning a new language or skill (like cooking), trying out different sports, or simply walking around the neighborhood and discovering new restaurants. In my free time, I also read detective fiction, play strategy games, and build with LEGOs.
Why did you join Maven?
For the collaborative environment, the focus on options trading, the solid codebase, and the opportunity to help systematize strategies while learning from experienced traders about various aspects of trading—such as interpreting headlines and understanding macro events.
