Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- I work within the Industrial & Logistics department where we advise occupier clients on warehouse and land acquisitions.
- On the daily I compile availability schedules and conduct viewings, negotiating Heads of Terms and taking the work into legals.
- The role is client facing which is great for someone starting their career.
- I currently work on several requirements where we are advising clients on property acquisitions across the UK.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I would say I have been given as much responsibility as I can handle.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Yes, I have most certainly developed my communications and teamwork skills. I have also become comfortable working within a corporate environment and have familiarised myself with the industry and the service lines which my company has to offer.

Relatively a lot. Although I would say I received as much help as I asked for. It didn't just 'come' to me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There are many other graduates in the company which makes the atmosphere fun and inspiring. I would say general culture varies from team to team, so it's about finding the right one.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I've had a good time, however some things could have gone better. It is slightly of a lottery which team you end up, which eventually determines how you feel.
