Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Primarily focused on test procedure creation and executing tests on advanced systems using internal techniques/standards. Communication with customer/end-user to investigate and analyse complex faults. Progress is reported through metrics and communicated with test leadership.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I owned various test procedures of numerous systems. I also assisted in determining testing scope for testing phases and created new team processes.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement and I don't have any regrets about doing it. I really enjoyed my engineering specialism which was something that I had had limited experience with before.
