Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Creating and raising invoices, updating the cashbook, Monthly VAT return preparation, reconciling GL accounts, AP/AR analysis, purchasing card analysis, SAP journals
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I was responsible for looking after GL accounts across multiple business units, handling large sets of data in and preparing the VAT return
