Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
-Interaction with the Trustee Board, Sub Committees
-Including organising meetings and specific projects for the UK Trustees in relation to investment and triannual valuation.
-Interaction with the day to day running of the UK plan,
-Supporting the day-to-day pension administration ensuring a customer focused service is provided.
-Regional Governance: Assisting the in-house pensions team with global pension governance and project related work

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have the best year on my placement. I experiences what its like to sit on the UK Trustee Board and engage with investment consultants, lawyers and other third parties. The lunches and dinners at meetings have really helped my social skills.
