Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Discovering new ways to use tableau and Jira, implementing this within the projects and having regular zoom calls with team members showing them how to use any new features

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given sole responsibility within my own projects but was never given responsibility with anything that could mess up the team if it went wrong

My confidence when speaking to a group of people about my work has sky rocketed, my presentation skills have built along side that. I have also has the opportunity to build on my java skills and learn two new software programs being Tableau and Jira

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

My manager, managing director and team were all great support during my placement if there was anything i asked they answered as fast as they could and when i had new suggestions they were allows open to listening. I even got to go on a course to help build one of the skills I was interested in developing

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I worked with people in my team from Europe, Asia and America. the company makes sure to have lots of groups you can join within work to make everyone feel included

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I felt my placement was a once in a lifetime experience with my team, I would highly recommend Citi for an internship, placement, and a full time job. They work with you and made you feel like a member of the team even though you'll only been there for 11 months
