The Deutsche Bank Spring Insight Programme provided a comprehensive introduction to the world of banking through work shadowing, training sessions, workshops, and panels. On a daily basis, we participated in activities like learning about various banking divisions, enhancing our communication skills, and exploring diversity and inclusion topics. Networking sessions, quizzes, and icebreakers facilitated connections with peers and professionals, while talks from senior bankers, traders, and tech experts offered invaluable industry insights. I would highly recommend this experience!
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Gaining insights into Deutsche Bank's business and the potential roles available was both enlightening and inspiring. The program exposed us to various divisions, showcasing the wide range of opportunities within the bank. Attending talks from senior bankers, traders, and technology experts gave us a first-hand perspective on the different career paths and responsibilities. Throughout the program, I developed essential skills and gained new knowledge in various areas. MDA Training sessions enhanced my understanding of banking fundamentals, while Bi-Jingo's workshop improved my interview and communication techniques. Engaging in panels broadened my perspective on diversity and affinity networks, and discussions with professionals across divisions helped refine my analytical and problem-solving abilities. The networking sessions and icebreakers also fostered teamwork and collaboration skills, allowing me to build strong connections with peers and industry experts.
