Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
There were an overview presentation of bp, networking sessions, external speaker talk, pod sessions, shadow day, Interview & Assessment centre skills workshops, Headshot opportunity and Meditation & mental health/burnout sessions.
I was paired with two hosts who showed me the overview and operations of trading and shipping of biofuels during the shadow day in the Canary Wharf office.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
There were lots of presentations of different roles from bp's employees. They told us their experience and their thoughts about bp. There were also pod sessions that we could had a chat with different workers in a small group. The knowledge and skills I acquired during this programme will undoubtedly benefit me in my future career endeavors.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The general atmosphere was very friendly and people were so nice at bp. They would like to tell us everything they know. The company put effort on diversity and they will organize many competitions and events. There are also some sports days.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
One of the highlights of the week was the shadow day at Canary Wharf office, where I was paired with two hosts who showed me the overview and operations of trading and shipping of biofuels. I learned a great deal about the various aspects of the industry and gained valuable insights into the day-to-day workings of a trading and shipping team.
