Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
During the Spring Insight Week, we attended a series of presentations and workshops, meet with senior leaders and employees from various teams within Markets, and participate in team-building exercises and networking events.
Day-to-day activities during the Spring Insight Week included attending presentations on topics such as market trends, trading strategies, and risk management, participating in case studies or simulations to understand how Markets works, and meeting with mentors and alumni to learn about their experiences and get advice on career paths.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really a unique and very interesting experience. We had several presentations that clearly helped us understand how the financial markets and Citi work. They allowed us to demystify market finance and to better understand the different workings of a bank like Citi.In addition, talking to the many Citi employees made us realise that joining Citi is clearly something achievable and attainable.
So it was a unique and very rewarding experience for all the Spring Interns.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I was pleasantly surprised by the healthy atmosphere and collaborative spirit at Citi during the Spring Insight Week. Despite the fast-paced and demanding nature of the industry, everyone I met was incredibly supportive and eager to help each other succeed. The company culture seemed to prioritize teamwork, respect, and inclusivity, and there was a clear emphasis on developing and nurturing talent from within. Overall, I felt that Citi offered a stimulating and dynamic work environment that would be both challenging and rewarding

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I thoroughly enjoyed the Spring Insight Week at Citi's Markets division. It provided a valuable opportunity to gain insight into how people work and think in the finance industry, and the presentations and workshops were highly informative and engaging. Networking with other participants and industry experts was also enjoyable and inspiring. Overall, it was an eye-opening experience that I will always cherish. I was unique to have the chance to do this insight at Citi
