Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each day was different, giving a great overview of what it’s like to work at Citi Belfast. We got first hand experience looking at what each area of Operations does, as well as getting to learn about the social and welfare benefits of being a Citi employee. Overall was a very good experience.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We got a great insight into the opportunities available at Citi from a graduate level, and shown the opportunities to develop and work our way up through the company. We were given great detail in how the bank operates and the different departments that all come together for a shared goal

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I gained great insight into investment banking as a beginner, and the insight week also aided my understanding of the business world. Team work and leadership skills were enhanced within the programme, as well as encouraging me to be inquisitive and adaptable to new surroundings.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was extremely welcoming, I was made to feel included and wanted straight away! All employees seemed relaxed and comfortable in their work environment, which aided us students to feel at ease!

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I would do it again in a heartbeat! I found it so exciting and a fun way to gain experience, network, and set my own goals! It was a brilliant opportunity that I would recommend to anyone !
