Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each day had an engaging program schedule consisting of presentations, Q&A panels, interactive activities as well as networking opportunities.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I now have a better understanding of how the bank works and how the different divisions work. I now feel more confident in finding new learning material relevant to the business areas as I have a deeper understanding of what kind of work each role consists of.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone I spoke to, from Graduates to HR to Senior members, seemed incredibly friendly. My overall impression was that I would happily work with the people at HSBC.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight as the programme was engaging and had the right balance of networking threaded throughout the week. This meant that I had the opportunity to learn as well as get to know everyone on the insight which made the week very enjoyable.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HSBC
HSBC really values people and diversity of thought, so my advice would be to act like yourself during the Job Simulation and maybe practice recording yourself so you can act most naturally when answering video questions.
