Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
- Governance reporting & pack management: I learnt how governance packs are structured, what “good” looks like, and how to support collation, version control, and timely submission. I also learnt how to turn MI into a clear narrative.
- AI / automation delivery basics: I gained hands-on experience shaping an AI Document Reader —requirements gathering, discovery calls, test document sourcing, basic prompt/task set-up, and preparing stakeholder launch communications.
- Process improvement design: I developed practical skills in simplifying a process end-to-end including mapping the pain points, designing a solution, iterating with feedback, and planning implementation.
Existing skills I'vestrengthened
- Stakeholder management & collaboration: I strengthened my ability to work across teams, set up meetings, gather feedback, and keep people aligned.
- Communication (written and verbal): I improved day-to-day professional communication through various tasks and projects. I also strengthened verbal communication through presentations/panels and pitch preparation.
- Analytical thinking & attention to detail: I strengthened data/MI interpretation and quality control through pack study, Excel workbook updates, and ensuring outputs were accurate and consistent for governance reporting.
- Prioritisation & delivery under pressure: Managing BAU alongside projects strengthened my planning, prioritisation, and ability to deliver consistently.
