Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role is to ensure all documentation, reporting, action items, and logistics are efficiently and effectively coordinated. Working as part of a Computacenter project team to deliver overall Project Co-ordination. Support the project manager in the commercial control of the project.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes gradually as the year went on my level of responsibility increased as i became more confident and developed in my role.

Yes I have developed existing including interpersonal, problem solving and critical thinking. However, I have also learnt new skills for example finance reporting

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support throughout the year. I have a line manager where I had monthly interactions checking on progression. I also had a mentor which has more regular interactions about work or anything I wanted to raise.

I enjoyed this placement year thoroughly as I have gained exposure to a diverse range of projects and have generated a great network of people who have supported me along my journey.
