Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The role involved working on strategy and organisational change projects. Day-to-day work included data analysis, preparation of written deliverables and team meetings or presentations.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

We were given a significant amount of responsibility throughout the internship. I led sections of data analysis and presented findings back to colleagues and clients.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture was very supportive. We were encouraged to network with colleagues at all levels of seniority across the firm, and everyone was happy to give their time and guidance on project work, which I greatly appreciated.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

Overall, I had a fantastic experience on the PA Consulting 8-week summer internship. The firm fosters a collaborative environment with a strong focus on professional development and growth. We were given significant responsibility from week one, however, the teams worked closely together and were happy to provide support when needed. This, combined with a dedicated skills training programme, made the experience highly valuable.
