I really enjoyed Biosciences Love Lab Week! It was a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a laboratory setting while learning more about biosciences in a fun and engaging way. The activities were really interesting, and I especially enjoyed developing practical lab skills and working as part of a team. Overall, it was a really valuable and enjoyable experience!

It was really interesting to learn more about the business and the different career opportunities available. It gave me a better understanding of the variety of roles within the company and how different teams work together, which helped me see the potential career pathways available within the biosciences industry.

Yes, I developed my practical laboratory skills through the MRSA detection activity. I gained more experience with microbiology techniques such as culturing, Gram staining and interpreting test results, while also developing my attention to detail, aseptic technique and teamwork.

The company culture was really welcoming and friendly. Everyone was approachable and supportive, which created a relaxed atmosphere where I felt comfortable asking questions and getting involved. For example, during the MRSA detection activity, the staff guided us through each step of the practical and were happy to explain anything we were unsure about.
