Overall, how would you describe your experience at BlackRock?
It has been very positive, everyone has been welcoming and helpful. The culture is brilliant and you are able to speak to people in the firm that are much more senior than you.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
My role involves lots of problem solving to find out how and why issues have occurred and then figure out how to solve them.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

The balance is good in terms of workload, the commute for me is what brings that down, but that is a personal choice to commute rather than live close to the office

I don't have any experience of this, but from what I have seen they do a good job

Blackrock does a lot through their internal employee networks to help the local community, through talking to low socioeconomic communities about getting jobs, to doing volunteering in the local community.

It is a world leading name in finance and has a brilliant culture that promotes the success of every individual that comes through the door
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

I was pleasantly surprised on how nice it is to work for Blackrock. However they could do with providing better outlines of job roles when applying as there are lots of small teams withing a larger team bracket which is what you apply to on the grad scheme
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to BlackRock?
Know the BLK principles and also focus on Ai
