Overall, how would you describe your experience at Transport for London?
The experience has been amazing. The culture set up in the organisation is welcoming, friendly and empowering. No matter what team or placement you rotate through, the common goal or vision is shared making you feel closer to the organisation and its strategic vision.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a finance graduate, you rotate through different placements within the Finance areas of the business areas. Part of my experience has been spending time with the Accounts payable team - where i processed invoices. The Record to Account team where I posted journal and did some VAT analysis. Finally my time in the Projects to fixed assets team. My favourite so far has been the Record to Account team because of the fundamentals of financial accounting can be picked up.
