Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role was to provide 2nd line IT Support to all the users across the University. This involved things such as troubleshooting AV related calls, reimaging and importing Windows and MacOS based Laptops and PCs across the campus using SCCM and Jamfpro, setting up users in the OUs on Active Directory, Resolving and Following up with tickets on Freshservice which is an ITSM ticketing platform just like ServiceNow, ZenDesk etc. I was also responsible in carrying out hardware troubleshooting and assistance such as changing display port, HDMI cables, updating Docking station firmware, IT Equipment Desk side setup such as replacing mouse, keyboard, monitor and I was also responsible to troubleshoot printer related issues on Wide Format Printers and HP Ricoh Printers, maintaining the stock catalogue on MS excel and purchasing them.
