Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Manchester Metropolitan University to a friend?

No

Why?

They don’t give in anyway much support to international students, given how much the student invest. PhD opportunities are only for UK students, internship opportunities were poor and even if there were some, they are not paid, meaning that the international student have to find a second job (that is very difficult because of VISA) to pay the rent , professors don’t help even though they have professional contacts for the faculty we study. Finally, the career service people have no idea about VISA rules. Basically, I invested a lot of money to just come back to my country (where opportunities are poor) and having little chances for my future. People in university don’t care about it because they just wanted my money. I would ask to stop this
