Working on research projects and building models which would aide the investment making process within the company.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes! I liked that after completing the internship, when I came back as a Graduate I was still encouraged to develop some of the research I had done during my internship so the work I had done was actually meaningful.

What advice would you give to others applying to abrdn
Focus on building relationships and solving problems during the recruitment process! The refreshing aspect of abrdn's recruitment process was that they focused more on me as an individual (which also allowed me to focus more on them as an employer) instead of technical knowledge most of which you'll learn on the job!
