Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?

Shamefully organised graduate scheme. No accountability from home team manager or early careers. We were just small cogs in a big machine who just went under the radar and totally unaccounted for. Ruined my mental health.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

Main responsibility on grad scheme was to learn and work hard. I enjoyed delivering a good result when there was no expectation to.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Depends which team you were in

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

3/5
Great salary but even at C grade the car scheme is out of reach

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Depends which team you’re in. But saying that you may be randomly allocated your future role so there’s no preparing for it

Experience & Company Culture

How is the support you receive?

1/5
0 support from the people who’s whole job is to support you. When push comes to shove it shows the people in the support roles i.e. cohort leaders or home team managers were only taking the roles on to further their own careers rather than doing the job to help us navigate our first experiences of the corporate world and an international conglomerate company

How is your work-life balance?

4/5
Fine. Do the extra hours when needs be

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

1/5
Not great when you’re making 4 thousand redundancies across the business. Other than that you're expected to work above your pay grade which I hate.

How would you rate JLR initiatives when it comes to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility?

3/5
Seems to be the only initiative they push to be better employers

How would you rate JLR CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives?

1/5
Nothing stands out here
