Overall, how would you describe your experience at NatWest Group?

Amazing 2 years so far - great culture and learning opportunity!

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

I completed 3x 6 month placements across the banks - all of which had new learnings and responsibilities - the roles and allowed me to build up my skills to roll off into an Relationship Manager role in April 2026!

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

You contribute to each team and become a valued member. You have to be proactive and contribute where you can to support your placement team to thrive!

How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

The compensation package is great for a grad scheme - you will always want more but it is a fair package for the work and learning you get!

How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

You always develop new skills and you have to be proactive in learning new skills and being open to training and day-to-day responsibilities which will help across your learning and development

Support was incredible - range of choice from Mentors / Grad Buddys - Grad manager and your Placement managers!

How is your work-life balance?

I had great work life balance to enjoy my work and social life - it is key to keep separate where you can but to ensure you log-off and enjoy social life outside of work!!

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Natwest has an amazing culture and values - which are echoed from day one - in terms of wider purpose and strategy!

NatWest has amazing Grad networks and employee led networks for DE&I as well as a huge importance on DE&I and accessibility

As a grad - you complete at least 2 CSR/ Volunteering days - as it is key to give back to the community!!
