How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I feel incredibly supported here at Rolls-Royce. I have a mentor, a graduate buddy, and my manager, so even if one of them is away, there’s always someone I can turn to for advice or guidance. The welcoming attitude of everyone around me has made such a positive difference, it’s much easier to ask questions, knowing that there’s no such thing as a “dumb” question here.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn are truly encouraged. This has helped me grow in confidence and made me feel comfortable seeking help and exploring different areas of the business. The supportive environment ensures that I can keep developing both personally and professionally.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Rolls-Royce to a friend?

Yes

What advice would you give to others applying to Rolls-Royce

My advice is: don’t give up, even when things seem difficult. Everyone starts somewhere, so don’t feel like you don’t deserve to be in a place where you’re happy with your work and your team. Always stay curious, work hard, and most importantly, have fun while doing it!
It’s also important to have a hobby or interests outside of work. Rolls-Royce has AGA, a community for interns, graduates, and apprentices, where you can join events and games like badminton and tennis. It’s a perfect way to meet new people, connect with peers, and enjoy your time here to the fullest.
