Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at AstraZeneca?
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Project Manager, External Quality (Macclesfield) – Supported quality system improvements, digital initiatives and process improvement activities. This gave me a strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
Digital Project & Change Manager, UK Operations (Macclesfield) – Worked on digital transformation projects involving Power BI, SmartSheet and data analytics tools. I enjoyed helping teams use data and technology to simplify processes and improve decision making.
Supply Chain Planner, Speke – Responsible for planning activities, production scheduling, SAP processes and supporting vaccine supply operations. This was where I developed the strongest understanding of manufacturing and end-to-end supply chain operations.
Senior Project Analyst, Strategy & PMO (Speke) – Supported site strategy deployment, performance management and long-term planning activities. I enjoyed working closely with leadership teams and seeing how strategic decisions are translated into operational priorities.
The element I've enjoyed most is the opportunity to work across multiple functions and sites to gain exposure to different parts of the business. This breadth of experience helped me identify where my strengths and interests lie while building a strong professional network across AstraZeneca.
