Overall, how would you describe your experience at TJX Europe?
Everyone has been very supportive and helpful. The first 4 weeks on induction were helpful however I think it could have been pushed into 2 weeks. We didn’t really spend a lot of time with the team but it was quite bitty when we did (1 hour blocks) which was not enough time to get anything done or have a proper handover.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Reporting is the main responsibility in my role along with adhoc. The reporting is nice as I get a bigger picture of the business and what is happening overall and then mixed with the adhoc it’s a good combination.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I feel as though I contribute meaningfully towards the business and feel valued by my team. I am slowly gaining more responsibility
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

The discount could be more as well as the salary as that has not gone up with inflation and has stayed the same the past 4 years
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

The graduate scheme allows us to study along side work which will help prepare me for my future. Also learning lots of different softwares and even tho soft skills
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

I am learning so much every day and the bigger picture is starting to click

My manager is great and very supportive as well as the graduate I am taking over from. The early careers team have been good too and have put catch ups in the diary
How is your work-life balance?

Work life balance is good at the moment however I can see this changing as the role evolves more and I get more responsibility as well as begging studying for CIMA

The culture is very good and everyone is so friendly and willing to answer any questions

Would you recommend TJX Europe to a friend?
Yes
Why?
They are a good company to work for and value their staff. They have different events throughout the year and have things such as summer Fridays aswell to motive. Everyone is very friendly and they are sponsoring me to complete my professional qualification
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

I didnt have to go through the recruitment process as I was offered the grad scheme after completing a placement year
