Hello, we’re TJX Europe.

Who? You might ask. But that’s OK, because while you might not have heard of us, you’ve probably heard of our brands – TK Maxx and Homesense.

What you probably don’t know is that we’re part of the world’s leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer – TJX Companies, Inc.

In 2016 it all added up to an annual turnover of $33.2 billion.*

But we don’t want to stop there. We’re excited about our opportunities for the future and confident in our ability to grow to be a $40 billion plus company.

Let’s go back to the beginning

Our story begins in the United States in 1977 with the opening of two TJ Maxx stores in Massachusetts. If you’re really interested in the history – including why it’s TJ Maxx in the US and Canada but TK Maxx in Europe.

The important bit is that we launched TK Maxx in Europe in 1994 and followed that with Homesense in 2008. The stores quickly became market leaders in a number of European countries.

We now have 547 stores across Europe as well as a successful online retail business. We’re growing at a fantastic pace globally and TJX Europe is one of our key channels for growth. This all makes TJX Europe the perfect place to launch your career.

Where we are

Our European head office is in Watford – just 20 minutes from London and half an hour from Heathrow.
