Overall, how would you describe your experience at TJX Europe?
Everyone is really lovely and helpful, lots of other grads also starting at the same time which is nice and an overall nice working culture
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
We do 3 rotations across finance, one every year. I enjoy answering adhoc analysis questions and telling a story through the data to business partners
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

Everyone appreciates what each other does for the team and there are chances to show your work and analysis through presentations
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

Onsite gym is really cheap, access to private gp appointments and discounted gym memberships. Store discount is 10% which could be higher and starting salady hasn’t been increased with inflation
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Roaring every year means I will have lots of experience in different areas of finance as well as working with a range of people. I am also completing my cima qualification which will set me up for the rest of my career
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

Had a long induction to be gained and settle into corporate life and there are on going early careers support and I develop soft and analytical skills during my roles

How is the support you receive?

Been given a buddy also on the grad scheme a couple of weeks in, would have been good if these were given for our start date. Also had a hr contact before starting and had a call which was good
How is your work-life balance?

Flex hours help maintain a good work life balance where we can work whatever times as long as we’re in on the core hours 10-3 we can do like a 8-4 rather than a typical 9-5, we also have summer Fridays where we finish at 1pm on a Friday during the summer months which makes the weekends feel longer and no one expects you to work late
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Everyone is really nice and the culture is very social, hybrid policy of 3 days in the office a week
