Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The continuous optimisation and streamlining of operations within customer query management in business banking. My role heavily relied on sourcing and analysing data and utilising AI to automate workflows within Business Banking.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was allocated a small-medium amount of responsibility, but was given the freedom to take on much more with independent work.

Skills were a huge focus of the internship. We looked to developed 10 skills and reflect each week. For me I think my communication skills have improved the most as i have spoke with a variety of stakeholders across different seniority levels
