Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Interned for the Marine team within the Transport and Logistics Division of the Global Broking Centre. Combined both learning and actionable tasks to be of use to the teams I was posted to (Marine Cargo and Protection and Indemnity).
Involved in one to one learning sessions for industry / job specific content and then performing day to day tasks that an insurance broker would perform.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Reasonable responsibility, would engage with underwriters via email on a daily basis as well as place legally binding contracts onto platforms for the underwriters to accept and be bound to.
