Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
During my time at Aon, I had the opportunity to work with several different teams within the wealth segment, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and processes. My responsibilities included supporting quarterly reviews, assisting with billing, helping with client transitions, and contributing to other operational tasks as needed. I regularly used Excel to organise and analyse data, create charts and graphs, and develop clear, comprehensive slide decks to present key findings
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
In my experience, colleagues delegated meaningful tasks to me early on, which required a strong sense of personal responsibility. At the same time, they provided excellent support and were always happy to explain more complex aspects of the work.

I have learned the importance of networking, taking responsibility, and being honest. Additionally, my Microsoft Office skills have improved, and I have further developed my analytical abilities.

Support and guidance were strong in every task I took on. The network within the organisation was very supportive, including colleagues based in other offices. The interconnected culture meant there was always someone willing to have a conversation and offer help.
