My time at CBRE has been a great experience and has provided me with a wide range of valuable opportunities. It has allowed me to develop both professionally and personally, expand my knowledge, and gain exposure to diverse projects and challenges. The experience has helped me build confidence, strengthen my skills, and grow my network while working alongside talented colleagues.

My main responsibilities involve conducting energy audits to identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption across buildings and facilities. This includes analysing energy usage data, assessing building performance, and developing practical recommendations that can improve efficiency and sustainability. I then present these findings to clients, clearly demonstrating the potential energy, carbon, and cost savings that could be achieved by implementing the proposed measures. This requires translating technical data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making and help clients progress towards their sustainability goals.
One aspect of my role that I particularly enjoy is presenting to clients during quarterly and annual business reviews. These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to showcase the impact of our work, discuss progress against sustainability targets, and build strong client relationships. They also give me valuable exposure to other areas of the business, allowing me to gain a broader understanding of how different teams collaborate to deliver services and support our clients

From day one, I have felt like a valued member of the team and was encouraged to get involved in meaningful work straight away.

The social events have been a highlight and a great way to network and build relationships. Due to being on a 2 year contract, the formal employee benefits was limited compared to full-time employees.
