Overall, how would you describe your experience at CBRE Group?
My role at CBRE has been fantastic so far. I have loved every minute and feel I have progressed substantially both professionally and personally through a combination of the courses I have been put on, and the mentoring I have received.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I really enjoy seeing projects 'come to life' as the lifecycle progresses. Taking a concept into a physical product is really rewarding when it develops as intended.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I have very exposed role in my team. I have managed several projects despite being at CBRE for less than a year, which was slightly difficult to start with, however I feel it has really helped my development.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

The booking system for hotel and travel is really simple to use. The expensing system is also very simple.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I have been exposed to far more than I thought I would at this stage in my career, but I do feel as though that will benefit me in the long-term.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

My day-to-day role teaches me new things everyday, which is always rewarding and never gets boring. The training for my APM is also a good mixture of engaging with good teachings as well.

How is the support you receive?

I have a really strong relationship with my line manager which is great. They are always there to pick up the phone no matter the question, which obviously happens a fair amount as a graduate!
How is your work-life balance?

My working week is very varied. I spend a lot of time away from home in cities / towns that are hours away meaning a routine is quite hard to establish.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

My team is very understanding of my situation as a graduate. They help when I ask, they let me work from home if I have a lot of paperwork to catch-up on.

I really like the company, it has been great to me so far. I would really recommend it to everyone.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

It was a fairly robust recruitment process with a lot of interviews, however I do feel that matches the calibre of job as it is exactly what I was expecting, if not better.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to CBRE Group?
Don't worry if you don't receive a call / email instantly with feedback, there are a lot of candidates and it takes a LOT of time to interview everybody!
