Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was placed into a Risk and Controls team called Issue Management, and my role consists of 3 workstreams that I supported. This was Controls, 3LOD and Vulnerability. This team tracks actions, issues DWB's, completes regular reporting and reviews as well as is responsible for lot's of project work. The work is very varied in terms of the tasks that I complete.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of responsibility, and completed regular reporting as well as project work myself. I had the opportunity to work with senior leaders to deliver meaningful change and had a lasting impact on the company.
