Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

• Supporting the maintenance and development of the Economic Crime Policy and associated Minimum Control Standards to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the effective mitigation of economic crime risk in line with the Board Risk Appetite.
• Supporting the governance and oversight of Dispensations, Waivers and Breaches to ensure instances of non-compliance with policy are identified, assessed and recorded in a timely manner, with appropriate remediation and escalation where required.
• Supporting risk framework activities to ensure the Economic Crime Policy remains aligned with the requirements of the Group Risk Management Framework.
• Supporting external engagement activities with UK Government, law enforcement agencies and industry bodies to ensure awareness of emerging economic crime risks, regulatory developments and industry best practice.
• Contributing to the delivery of the Economic Crime Policy Annual Plan.
