Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Attended the teams daily meetings to keep on top of the teams delivery pipeline and worked simultaneously on new business analyst pieces of work brought to our team from various parts of the business.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, unlike other placements i have completed, at abrdn they treated me like I was just another member of the team which in turn boosted my confidence and work ethic

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
All my soft skills such as professional communication and networking have been improved as well as my personal confidence. Moreover my technical skills in excel and SQL have been massively improved due to constant use of them.

Weekly manager 1-1 calls as well as a continuous support network via the early careers team. Also, we were linked with a buddy around the same age with whom I had weekly calls with.
