Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As a a software engineering intern, I worked in an agile way with the members of my team. I had daily responsibilities of attending scrum calls, working on development stories, learning and exploring technology at HSBC.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Much responsibilty was given to me. I was treated like a perm developer, not a temporary intern. They also were careful not to overload me with work and encouraged me to immerse myself in the tech space at the company.

I have learnt so many new skills and developed many existing ones. The most prominent have been my soft skills, as well as many techincal skills.
