Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Clyde and Co's Summer Vacation Scheme was a highly insightful and enjoyable experience!
As a vacation schemer, you are allocated a supervisor and a buddy who will allocate work and support you throughout the scheme.
The first few days of the scheme are introductory, giving an overview of many things like the firm, departments, Pro Bono, and DEI.
Day-to-day work is highly dependent on the department you are placed in, with tasks ranging from email drafts, to research, to witness interviews.
Everyone in the office is extremely approachable, with access to everyone from trainees to partners, so it is great to make use of this by meeting with people from other departments for coffee chats.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We were given talks which explained departments and the company structure, which were very useful. We also had a chat with the chairman and a trainee panel, as well as the opportunity to meet with anyone for a coffee and a chat.
