Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My internship at Clyde & Co involved me working on a range of trainee level tasks with the Energy and Construction team (International Arbitration). This included researching, case summaries, conducting meeting notes etc.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given responsibility in terms of how I conducted the tasks I was given but was given support and guidance with the legal knowledge and commercial background by my supervisors and wider team.

Yes, I learnt many new skills including how to conduct myself in a corporate environment. Such skills included research, analysis, communication, being commercially aware etc.
