Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

As an intern, we had the opportunity to sit in two different departments, where we learned about the legal concepts and onboarded tasks such as legal research, drafting, and reviewing.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes. I felt like I got to do trainee-like tasks.

A very good amount - I had supervisors and trainee buddies for each seat. Along with other trainees and fee earners in the firm, they were very approachable and always great at answering any questions.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture was great. Although it is a really big firm, people are very approachable and always willing to make time. Additionally, including our intern cohort, it is a very international and inclusive firm.

Aside from knowing your motivations as to why you are applying to the firm and doing your work as best as you can, do enjoy the fact that you are going to be surrounded with people who are doing amazing work and you will get to learn from their expertise & immerse yourself in great work.
