Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Our team was centered around innovation and developing software so my day to day varied greatly. Sometimes it was experimenting with new technologies, or building something for a business demo or building and showcasing software to a customer.

I was given a lot of responsibility and spearheaded a lot of my own projects.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I was given a large amount of guidance the whole placement and worked very closely with my team. We were quite a small, tight-knit group so I always felt that there was someone I could reach out to.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I absolutely loved the company atmosphere. I expected corporate life to be quite dreary but regardless of which office I was going to, I was always excited to go in and see people. A great working environment through and through.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it thoroughly and I'm so glad that I did it. I have had a fantastic time this year and have grown greatly in my role and as a person as well.
